A Week in Outfits is a series where I share everything I’ve worn over the week, complete with styling notes and personal reflections. If you want to see these outfits in action, I share outfit videos on TikTok.
This week was a bit awkward. After an unexpected break (thanks to a fractured shoulder), getting dressed felt like a struggle, both physically and mentally.
I tried mixing things up by avoiding my usual all-black outfits to get more wear out of my wardrobe. And the result was mixed feelings about what I wore.
That tension between how I imagined an outfit would look versus how it actually felt to wear was frustrating. But that’s personal style. It’s about experimenting, not perfection.
Looking back, I actually liked most of my outfits. It’s a reminder that our mood can heavily influence how we feel about what we’re wearing. Sometimes, it’s not the clothes, it’s the headspace we’re in.
