A Week in Outfits is a series where I round up a week's worth of looks from the past month, along with styling notes and personal reflections. If you want to see these outfits in action, I share outfit videos on TikTok.
Unlike the slow, gloomy grind of April, May was full of fun and spontaneity. I spent a lot of time with friends, enjoying the sunshine (when we had it), celebrating, and even taking an impromptu (yet very much a much-needed) trip away. See what I packed here.
Seriously, a change of scenery and routine can have such an impact your perspective.
But life has a way of keeping things interesting. Just as May was wrapping up, I got seriously unwell. So, this month’s outfit diary is a bit shorter than usual. I’m on the mend now and hoping that June’s round-up will be full of more summery looks.
On a lighter note, I couldn’t resist adding a couple of new bag charms to my collection this month. A Cry Baby and a Twinkle Twinkle. Both purchased second hand, of course. How are you feeling about the blind box collectible trend? I know it's incredibly polarising and I have some strong opinions myself…
What I Wore in May
My wardrobe is mostly thrifted—a mix of vintage, second-hand fast fashion, ethical brands, and indie labels. More details on each item, with links, can be found here.

I LOVE your outfits, Sophie! 💕 You look like you, not a carbon copy of trends. I admire the humour and creativity of looks.
