A Considered Style
Wear your damn clothes!
We’re told that dressing well means buying more. It doesn’t.
Most people don’t need a new wardrobe. They need a new way of seeing the one they already own and actually enjoying what’s in it.
That’s what A Considered Style helps you do.
Who I Am
I’m Sophie Davies. Writer, jeweller, serial outfit repeater.
I used to shop all the time. ASOS would have banned me if they could. Parcels arrived every week, sometimes every day. I did it for years—until launching my jewellery brand made me realise the fast fashion problem I was part of.
Then I fell down the minimalism rabbit hole. Neutral basics, bland staples, a wardrobe that looked perfect but had zero personality. I lost my style in the pursuit of “the considered capsule.”
Clawing my way back, I realised: personal style isn’t found in a shopping cart or a capsule checklist. It’s in trusting your taste and wearing your damn clothes.
That’s what I write about here: helping you rebuild a wardrobe you actually love. Without starting from scratch.
What A Considered Style Is About
A Considered Style is about loving your wardrobe again, not buying a new one. It’s about finding your personal style without the overconsumption, trend-chasing, or fashion rules.
You’ll find essays, notes, and guides on building a wardrobe that works in real life: how to define your taste, rewear what you love, shop more consciously, and rebuild confidence in your own style.
Who This Is For
If you love clothes but you’re done with chasing trends
If you want a wardrobe that works in real life, not just online
If you care about sustainability but you also care about looking good
If you want style advice that feels human, not algorithmic
If you’re ready to stop overthinking your wardrobe and actually enjoy it
A Considered Style is for people who want to dress better, not buy more. Not another capsule wardrobe formula. Not another list of “elevated basics.” Not another set of rules to follow.
Just style that feels like you.
