In last month’s outfit round-up, someone noticed the humour in my outfits and in June, I really leaned into that. Summer seems to bring out my silly side.

It’s made me think a lot about expressive minimalism, and my version of it.

Over the last couple of years, I've embraced this more than ever. Maybe it’s just my mood, or the state of the world grinding everyone down. Or maybe it’s the natural backlash from spending way too long chasing a “versatile” wardrobe…

How I Lost My Personal Style (And Found It Again)

When I first got into sustainable style and capsule wardrobes, I lost my sense of personal style. I stuck to all the “rules” so rigidly my wardrobe was stripped of any personality or creativity.

Anyway, I’ve poured all those thoughts into the post linked above if you’re interested.

I just wanted to say how good it feels to see my wardrobe regaining its personality. To have fun with fashion instead of just trying to find new ways to style the same boring clothes that looks exactly the same as the last time I wore them.
