A Week in Outfits is a series where I round up a week's worth of looks from the past month, along with styling notes and personal reflections. If you want to see these outfits in action, I share outfit videos on TikTok.
I started the month with a week by the sea. The weather was perfect: bright sunshine, clear skies, and that crisp breeze that makes you grateful for your coat but excited for spring.
But when I returned home, the good weather disappeared. A sudden cold snap meant my outfit choices had to be a little more... realistic. Back into the studio I went, prepping my spring jewellery collection and dreaming of warmer weather.
March saw the untimely (and surprising!) death of my Dr. Martens 1461 Shoes. They lasted just three years. My last pair made it to ten. What used to be my most reliable footwear is suddenly not so reliable anymore.
Since I’m sticking to The Rule of Five, I’m not replacing them just making the most of the shoes I already own. On that note, I bought my first new item: Beyond Nine’s Huxley Trousers. Full review on my blog, but in short: they’re worth it.
What I Wore in March
My wardrobe is mostly thrifted—a mix of vintage, second-hand fast fashion, ethical brands, and indie labels. I’ve linked similar items where possible.

That twotone cardigan!!! Is the back split down the middle? Now I want to knit myself one, maybe in pink and red. Or navy and green? Oh, the options!!!
It's so cute right? The back is just all white. I'd love to see your version if you ever make one!
